Could Leicester be relegated?

Leicester are currently 17 in the Premier League table, 1 point above the drop. They also have the lowest points tally of any Premier League champions. Last year they completed one of the biggest shocks in world sport, winning the Premier League title by 10 points.

They have only won on 5 occasions this year, 9 less than this time last year. Sunday's 2-0 loss to Swansea who themselves have been struggling have condemned them to what looks like relegation. Below them are Hull, Crystal Palace and Sunderland. Hull look inspired under new manger Marco Silva and they currently look far better than Leicester. Crystal Palace has been struggling and new manger Sam Allardyce has only won once in the league with his new side. Sunderland who recently beat Palace 4-0 where on the back of a 4-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend, as they continually struggle to stay afloat in the league. Above Leicester is Middlesbrough who have the lowest scoring record in the league but have been impressive defending only conceding 27, the best in the bottom half of the table.
So, can Leicester really be relegated? Claudio Ranieri is struggling to pick his best team at the minute - he has used 19 different formations this season with no real turn around. Leicester's two stars Vardy and Mahrez have also been struggling for form. As Leicester haven't score a goal in 2017.
In the Champions League though, it's been a different story as Leicester won their group as progressed to the knock-out rounds, they play Sevilla next Wednesday who currently sit third in La Liga.
